Our Volunteers 

Volunteering for the Trust is a great way to enjoy the natural values and scenic beauty of Banks Peninsula while contributing to our conservation work. We rely on volunteers to achieve our goals and are on the look out for pepole with a range of skills to support our programmes. Volunteers help the Trust in the following areas:


  • Weed restoration group
  • Predator control
  • Community biodiversity monitoring
  • Covenant management
  • Tui & morepork monitoring
  • Organising field-days and workshops
  • Banks Peninsula schools programme
  • Fundraising projects
  • Administration work
