Community Engagement & Education
Inspiring people to be passionate about Banks Peninsula’s ecology, to understand it, their relationship with it, and take action to protect and restore it
We support community groups, schools, runanga, farmers, catchment groups, and other landowners to protect and enhance indigenous biodiversity. Activities include a wide range of biodiversity field days and workshops, farm biodiversity planning and outcomes monitoring, school specific programmes, restoration advice, plant and animal pest management advice, resources and publications.
